Orquesta Romantica Milonguera needs us
Hola tangueros/as and other Orquesta Romantica Milonguera lovers,
We all know what the world looks like right now and we all know that it will take some time before we’ll be back to “normal” and musicians have permission to be on the road again. But once they are allowed we hope they survived and still can! And instead of just hoping we want to contribute.
This month we (Biki & Muzo from Tango La Zapada) had a big milonga scheduled with Orquesta Romantica Milonguera, their first performance in the Netherlands. Well, that is not going to happen since they had to cancel their whole spring-tour and more. A pity for us tango dancers, but so much worse for the musicians. As for them out of work means out of income and even worse as they had already invested in this tour.
We fell in love with their music quite a while ago and after meeting them in person we learned that, besides incredible musicians, they are incredible people as well. They really tried to manage this crisis themselves at first, but things are getting very difficult by now.
So here is the big question: would you please help this incredible orchestra (of 10 people!) survive this crazy madness by donating some money? Of course you will be helping them out by buying their music online but most of all they need cash right now in order to survive. We hope you will help us help them!
We, as organisers, promise to program them again as soon as we may, for all of us to experience them live again.
