Our Story: 

 We have currently leased a home in Kabul, Afghanistan where we house our orphaned kids, send them to private school, private driver, maid, tutors, physical education teacher, and medical care. Our aim at Orphan House Foundation is to raise these kids as we would raise our own kids here in America.

Due to the 30 years of war that has devastated Afghanistan, there are thousands of orphans that live on the street and are being used for child labor. At times, they are bought and sold as commodities. We would like to take care of as many of these orphans as possible so that they have the opportunity to grow up with a good education, as well as good mental and physical health. Our hope is that these same orphans will, in turn, become responsible members of their society.

By sponsoring us, you will be providing towards the future of orphans who would otherwise go hungry and grow up on the street. We started out with 3 kids in 2011, and with the grace of God, we are up to 21 kids, including 3 girls.

We at Orphan House foundation do not benefit from this work monetarily, we volunteer all of our time, and all of the money that is collected goes towards starting and maintaining the orphanage.

Accomplishments: 

2014

Attended Mawlid Conference and passed out information
Increased our number of orphans to 23, including 3 girls
Did two major Fundraisers on and was able to raise funds for the new house
For the first time, we were able to buy own house in the middle of Kabul
Changed schools, to a better school, with better academics
Raised some funds for renovation
Hired extra science/math tutor
Was able to find sponsors for winter packages for all kids which included:winter jacket, pants, new school uniforms, caps, and sweater:


2013

Continue to excel
Looked for land or house in Kabul
Attended Afghan TV shows
Registered with major corporations for matched donations
Thrid trip to Kabul by Dr Kadeer M Halimi to inspect the orphanage
Established support team in Tracy California
Designed and printed Brochures
The board has also approved to increase our total number of  boys to twenty
Enrolled our first 3 girls
Sponsored widowed women who has three children and she is to send her kids to school $90/month.  
Purchase a car for $3550 to be used for the orphanage.
Attended RIS conference in Toronto Canada
Established interest group in Canada
Kids got semiannual school report card and ranked in the top five in their respective classes
Eid gifts for all kids including new clothes and shoes



2012
