What I'm raising money for:
Orlando Chapa Sr. was diagnosed with IPF (Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) which is incurable disease leaving him with one option; a lung transplant. He is on 24-Hour oxygen patiently waiting for his name to be called on the lung transplant list. These things were not part of our plans,but we trust in the Lord, and his plan. We will never know why but we have accepted it and together we will conquer this journey ahead.
How the money will be used: Orlando is an owner of two family ran businesses and is unable to go about daily life. His insurance, oxygen and weekly hospital visits all add up quickly even with insurance and no disability. Once he receives the lung transplant he will have a lengthy stay to adjust and stabilize. First, we ask as a family for your prayers.
Exodus 24:25 Worship The Lord your God, and his blessings will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from amond you,"

Why this is important to me: Anyone who has met Orlando knows the selfless man he is. He is a great friend to many, the favorite uncle, the little and big brother , dad to two sons and Popo to six grandchildren; and "babe" to the only one. His partner, his care giver his wife Santos.
