My husband is an emergency medicine resident and I see the toll that the COVID-19 crisis is taking on him and his colleagues. Physicians, nurses, cleaning staff, and countless others are putting their lives at risk for us. They are passionate about what they do, but they are also tired, stressed, hungry and overwhelmed. This fundraiser is for them. Let's show them our support and just how strong Orlando really is. Let's be #OrlandoStrong.

We're raising money to support local restaurants providing meals to the front line workers during the current COVID-19 outbreak.

So far, we've delivered:

- 60 Little Greek meals to Adventhealth Celebration

- 120 homemade treats to Osceola Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Medicine Residency Program

- 52 Taco My Guey meals to Osceola Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Department

- 15 PDQ meals to Osceola Regional Medical Center’s Hunter’s Creek Emergency Department

- 100 Jason's Deli meals to Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center

- 20 PDQ  meals to Osceola Regional Medical Center's Millenia Emergency Department

- 75 PDQ meals to Osceola Regional's ED and COVID-19 specific floor

- 100 MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes meals to Orlando Health's ED

- and more!

We start by reaching out to local hospitals to determine if they'll accept meal deliveries and ask for staffing numbers. If we're successful, we'd like to expand our support to other essential workers including grocery stores, sanitation services, law enforcement etc.

Once we determine how many staff are working a particular shift, we coordinate with local restaurants to order and deliver meals. 

We will also ensure these meals make it to the patient providers in high intensity areas as often, those providers do not get the chance to visit a centralized break area.
