My name is Ethan and I’ve been struggling to write this description all day. I usually keep my life and personal things private but it’s Pride month and I desperately need your help.
I’m originally from NY and at the end of 2017 I moved to Philadelphia.
In Philly, I met the love of my life – Orion.
Much like his name suggests, he is 1,000,000,000% out of this world amazing and he inspires me every single day to be the best human I can be.
We made the tough decision to move away from the East Coast to be closer to his mother, who is getting older. Even though we’re now with his mother, we’ve left our friends, family and lives behind.
On Dec. 23rd, 2019, we got engaged and I promised him I would do ANYTHING to help him in whatever way I can.
Now I need your help.
Orion has been pursuing gender confirmation surgery for 7 years now and it’s FINALLY scheduled for this Monday, June 17th 2019. He is scheduled for double-incision top surgery.
For those of you who didn’t know, he is a trans-man (FTM) and experiences a lot of body dysphoria surrounding his chest. Please feel free to read more about the surgery here:

Originally, we were told that the bill would come post-op, and we wouldn’t have to shoulder any of the cost upfront.
He’s been waiting 7 years for this. Today, June 13th (4 days until his scheduled surgery date) we received a voicemail saying that a large portion the surgery cost would have to be paid to the hospital prior to the surgery.
If you’re able to, I really need help.
All of your money will go directly to surgery and hospital costs. Insurance will cover a big chunk of it, but we still need help for the remainder.
Orion means the world to me and he is too strong to ask for help, even in this hard time. I promised him I would do anything for him and I mean it every second of every single day.
