<div>The Orinda Theatre is a landmark for the East Bay. The theatre first opened in December 1941. Yes, the Orinda Theatre will be 79 years old this December.  We have been closed due to COVID-19 since March 16th.  We have been doing Wine, Popcorn and Red Vine sales each Friday to help us through this difficult time. Now, with the stay-at-home order extended until May 31st, the sales drive will not be enough.  Unfortunately, our operating FIXED cost of $17,000 to $20,000 a month, remain during the closure, such as rent, utilities, insurance, equipment maintenance, etc.  Please help us during this difficult time soon we can reopen and celebrate our 85th birthday!
