Originals On Vinyl

I’m recording a memoir of original songs/compositions which will be published digitally and, more importantly (and expensively for me) pressed on to vinyl. Something real and tangible; a time stamp on my musical life so far, but this time minus Blue Man Group and minus my Tribute To Billy Joel project. These are my songs. This is my sonic signature. Personal music I’ve longed to share with my closest friends and family as well as distant relationships from far away and long ago. My songs are presented by a small world class trio composed of eclectic drums a warm cello and myself singing whilst playing piano or guitar. I’m not trying to be a Pop Star or a Rock Legend and do not have a Record Label giving me any “cash on the front end” of some could be lucrative 10 year/8 album deal. But I do have something to say and sing and chords to voice and ring. This project is my half-of-a-life-time legacy.My exceedingly incredible drummer of 16 years has donated his time and skill and collaborative insight for free. Several phenomenal cellists have contributed for peanuts compared to industry standard. And despite getting a wonderfully generous “bro”-rate at Jaguar [recording] Studio the over all bill has become daunting especially considering an upcoming vinyl pressing, not to mention album mixing and album mastering costs. Those who donate $30 or more will effectively be pre-ordering a copy which will be UPS’d upon completion. With a donation of at least $10, an album download code will be sent upon completion.
