Oreos MRI + Surgery (Medical Costs)

My best bud, Oreo, is 10 years old. 70 in dog years.  If you've met him, you'd know how energetic, loving and caring he is. He's not like any other dog and when I say this, I mean it. He was my fifth grade graduation present and ever since then we have been inseparable since. He's a big loving character who's also known as a dare-devil. One time I had to attend quinceniera practice when I was a freshman in high school and I had to walk 8 blocks, unknowinlgy he escaped my house and followed me all the way there because he loves to be by my side. When my parents got divorced when I was elementary, he would let me hug him really tight at night when I was upset in bed. When my brothers were in the military and I had no one to play with, he'd keep me company and let me play house with him everyday. Everyday we played something new and he never left my side. He howls and cries to his favorite squeaky toys. He has even gotten hit by a car before and as I ran into the street the assholes who hit him drove off. Thankfully it wasn't his time yet and it still isn't now.  His hobbies are being on squirrel/cat patrol to chase them away and running laps in big open spaces. He has never tried to bite anyone before, he's the nicest dog you'll ever meet. I can bet money on that. He has taught me many things such as responsibility at a young age, patience and loyalty. I can truly call him my bestfriend, he has been there for me through it all. I am currently in my third year of college and he has been living with me since the day I moved out. Oreo experienced a strange and horrbile accident on December 4, 2017 around 2pm. He jumped off of a bed and when he landed, I have never heard him scream as loud as he did. Oreo has jumped off of higher edges and has never been injured so this is where things get strange. We have done X-Rays and luckily no bones were broken, but unfortunately it appears that a disk in his spine has been dislocated. He has a long body so hes prone to back injuries. He has lost movements and feeling in both of his rear legs. He's a fighter so he drags himself everywhere but doctors orders are cage rest along with medications and diapers attached to him. He gets frustrated when he tries to run or move quickly to greet his favorite people. He's not used to being still so hes confused as to why he can't run around. It saddens me that I am not financially stable to support the dog I see as my child. What is next to do besides medication and cage rest would be an MRI + Surgery. I recieved an estimate of around $6,500. I don't live at home and pay all of my bills and I don't receive financial aid. As a college student money is already tight. I ask from the bottom of my heart for any contributions towards Oreo's medical bills. If donations are not possible that's fine, all I ask is to share this post until we get enough funds needed. We can use all of the love and support needed. He's never let me down so I won't let him down either. #PrayForOreo #SaveOreo
