Ordination during a pandemic!

I have been blessed to be ordained to the priesthood of the Holy Orthodox Church in March of 2021. Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic we are unable to have the service here in British Columbia, and so my family and  I will have to fly to Montreal.  As a family of six with one income this extra expense will be a challenge to overcome. I know many of you so generously supported me during my six month stay in Toronto and that support is not forgotten. In fact it is that support that has carried me to this point.  As my family  and I now begin to prepare for this next step in our journey of faith and service I humbly ask for your support.
The six of us will be travelling to Montreal, where we will stay for a week. The cost of the plane tickets, accommodations, and  van rental will be close to $7000. I also have to order Vestments, which will run around $2500.  I truly wish that I my ordination could take place in my home parish of St Hermans of Alaska in Langley BC, but sadly, Covid has made that an impossible reality.
Finally, I would like to say "Thank you" to all of you who have supported my family and I during the difficult times of that last 10 years. We are here to rejoice in the Lord because of your prayers and generosity.
In Christ,
Fr Deacon Symeon (Donovan) Price
