<div>Im Jahr 2026 sind wir Veranstalter der World Orchid Conference (WOC) in Dresden – eines der weltweit bedeutendsten Ereignisse rund um die Orchidee. Tausende Besucherinnen und Besucher aus Wissenschaft, Züchtung, Naturschutz und Liebhaberkreisen werden erwartet. Die Deutsche Orchideen-Gesellschaft e.V. (DOG) ist stolz darauf, für dieses einzigartige Event verantwortlich zu sein – und wir brauchen eure Unterstützung!

<div>Die DOG möchte sich auf dem WOC 2026 mit einem eindrucksvollen, vielfältigen Auftritt präsentieren – mit seltenen Pflanzen, innovativen Informationsangeboten und der Förderung des internationalen Austauschs zwischen Züchtern, Botanikern und Orchideenliebhabern. Alle Mitarbeitenden für dieses Projekt engagieren sich ehrenamtlich. Das erfordert nicht nur Leidenschaft, sondern auch finanzielle Mittel. Neben der Ausstellung und dem Vortragsprogramm wollen wir einige besondere Aktionen gestalten, um die WOC 2026 zu einem besonderen Erlebnis für alle zu machen.

<li>Umsetzung eines UNESCO-Schulprojekts, in dem Schulklassen Poster zu Naturschutz und Wissenschaft rund um Orchideen gestalten können mit der Chance auf eine Prämierung auf der WOC 2026

<li>Organisation einer Ausstellung zu botanischer Kunst - hier werden Bilder von Orchideen speziell für diese WOC 2026 auf künstlerisch höchstem Niveau von Mitgliedern verschiedener botanischer Kunstvereine erstellt

<div>In 2026, we will be hosting the World Orchid Conference (WOC) in Dresden—one of the world’s most significant events dedicated to orchids. Thousands of visitors from the fields of science, breeding, conservation, and orchid enthusiasts are expected to attend. The German Orchid Society (Deutsche Orchideen-Gesellschaft e.V., DOG) is proud to be responsible for this unique event—and we need your support!

<div>At WOC 2026, the DOG aims to present itself with an impressive and diverse presence—featuring rare plants, innovative information offerings, and promoting international exchange between breeders, botanists, and orchid lovers. Everyone involved in this project is working on a voluntary basis. This requires not only passion, but also financial resources. In addition to the exhibition and lecture program, we want to create some special activities to make WOC 2026 a memorable experience for everyone.

<div>Support for lectures, workshops, and educational materials, e.g., involving young artists from the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts, or students from local universities and horticultural associations
