ORC Chapel Mission Trip - Guatemala

The ORC Chapel is going on a mission trip to Casa Bernabe in Guatemala, home to 120 orphans, from January 20 - 27, 2018.

Casa Bernabe is located 45 minutes outside of Guatemala City. The mission team is picked up at the airport by bus and delivered to the 13-acre walled-in campus they call home. We leave the campus only once for a trip to Antigua, a busy tourist spot. We will NOT be trolling around dangerous parts of Guatemala, and nobody will be out alone on our trip.
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. ~1 Peter 4:10
Our team will be doing these things:
Medical Project: Plastic surgery team will be repairing cleft palates, etc. Need: $5,000
Cleanliness/santitation: Team is deep cleaning bunk dorms; purchasing new mattresses: $2,800
Roofing Project: Materials and labor for new roofing roofing project. (10 of the 18 buildings on campus are needing new roofs.): $15,000
Grandma Project: Taking a group of kids out for some grandma time and a McDonald's visit! So special for the kids to go outside the orphanage - and get some adult love. $1,500
