Orangutan Volunteer Work

so... Back in August 2014 I went to Borneo, Sabah. The photo is of a baby orangutan in a sanctuary I see when I visited! He was orphaned and found at the side of a road under his mother’s body once she had been hit by a vehicle. Now, 4 years after I want to volunteer to help in Indonesia or Malaysia

In recent news I have learned that orangutans are now critically endangered! The locals are destroying their homes and treating them like pests. 

This project is to help build new homes for the orangutans and improve the security and hopefully help save a few lives.

I do not have anything booked yet, but hoping to go in January 2019. 
Reason being for not having anything booked yet is because I have been traveling the past 5 months. I return in June, which is when I will be able to save up the money and book for indefinite! I am in contact with the charity currently. 

In order to do this... I need help from you guys. The project itself is average $600+ a week! Im hoping to go for 2 weeks, maybe more depending on money. The flights are not included in this. I’m hoping by setting this page up in advance, it will speed up the process when I arrive home in June.
