Orangeburg Civic Ballet's "Nutcracker and Friends"

Orangeburg Civic Ballet is a non-profit organization, committed to bringing the arts to Orangeburg and surrounding communities. Orangeburg Civic Ballet strives to be an innovative dance organization that creates original avant garde productions in the Orangeburg arts scene. It is our goal to create a diverse generation of dancers to communicate through classical and contemporary dance, while providing a creative and inclusive learning environment.


For twenty-eight years, Orangeburg Civic Ballet has brought the holiday classic "The Nutcraker" alive for the community. This year, due to Covid-19 and the associated pandemic, we could not safely hold our annual production. Instead, we are excited to release a virtual production, "Nutcracker and Friends" on Dec. 12 that we are sure will delight audiences young and old.


Orangeburg Civic Ballet runs off of ticket sales and the generous donations of sponsors in our community. Beacause "Nutcracker and Friends" is a FREE virtual production, we need more help than ever from sponsors and donors in order to continue to function as a non-profit.
