Ora Mae Callis/Dilworth

Marquis Bates and Marquisa Callis are saddened to announce the passing of their mother Ora Mae Callis/Dilworth. Mrs. Callis passed January 16, 2017 at South Brook Manor where she was being kept with tender care, while she battled with Huntington’s disease. Ora strived to hang on to life to see her children succeed. Marquis Bates continues to honor his mother as a college student athlete at Sam Houston State University. He has a full ride scholarship as a proud member of the National Semi-finalist Bearkat football team. Marquisa Callis also excels in sports as a senior basketball star and varsity cheerleader at Edna High School. She will be graduating in the top 1/3 percent of her class. We ask that you support these to young students in the fundraising efforts for proper funeral and burial services of there mother.
