Save Our Home

Have you ever fallen behind?  Then when you are about to catch up something else happens, then another thing happens, maybe you get sick or your job doesn't give you enough hours.  Before you know it, with all the late fees and interest, you're drowning.  

This happened to us.  We had a pretty bad year last year.  Work was slow during the time of the year that it's usually very busy.  We were also paying child support for a child that actually lived with us because of the way the court system works here in Texas.  Then, I got very sick and was forced off work in order to recover.  It's at the point that paying a little bit more each month isn't cutting it.  Our late fees and the interest just keep growing.  Even though our lender has been sympathetic, they are now threatening foreclosure.  With the relatively recent restrictions on bankrupcy, we do not qualify.  

We don't have cable, don't go out all the time, we don't even buy clothes or shoes unless they fell apart first.  We don't try and outlive our means.  We just fell on hard times.

I've already sold anything that had any kind of value.

If we could actually get caught up, we'd be able to maintain our bills in good order, even save a little bit each month.  

Now I'm here, embarrassed and frightened, asking if you are able to help.  It's a terrible feeling to actually ask people for money.  We all hate to admit that we need help sometimes.  Any amount will help.
