Pray For Carter

As most of you know Amanda Wallace (my sister) has had a very rough pregnancy, from the bleed on her placenta to all the extras it came with! Carter Wayne Wallace made his appearance March 12,2015 @ 6:28 pm 5 weeks and 2 days early! We were sure everything was okay because he had made it this far!! Soon after Carter was born at an amazing weight of 5.1lbs for a premie , the doctors told us there were some features that weren't normal , we soon would learn Miracle Man Carter was about to put up the fight for his life! Diagnosed with Harlequin ichthyosis a very rare genetic disease that will cause many complications for Carter, it's disease of the skin in which his skin will look like he has been burned all over his body , it causes a very hard infection to beat along with tightening of the joints in his arms and legs causing him to not be able to move his legs already! A big part of the disease is dehydration not allowing Carter to obtain water like most , which has made him very swollen in his lips, hands, and feet. his eye lids are inside out meaning he will need to have many surgeries to correct them, Along with a long journey ahead of him! This condition will not go away, and will need a lot of attention! The first two weeks are the most critical as to if he will make it through this!! Amanda will have to take care of him full time and may not be able to go back to work , I have created this to help cover any expenses my sister and Carter will have over the next couple months!
