Options for Sexual Health Revelstoke has been serving our community for over 10 years. To keep this important service open we need to hire more nursing staff. This involves them having to take specific courses to ensure they are up to date and fully capable of providing such special care.
This is where we ask for your help, Revelstoke! We are looking to fundraise the above amount in order to cover the costs of the education our nurses require.
We provide access to confidential, non-judgemental sexual health care routed in reproductive choice. Our clinics are run by certified nurses, doctors, and trained volunteers and offer a wide range of sexual health services. We provide birth control counselling, low-cost contraceptives, sexually transmitted infection (STI) screening, cervical screening, pregnancy testing, pro-choice pregnancy options counselling, and general sexual health information and referrals. Services are LGBTQ2S+ friendly and for all ages.
We recognize the many barriers that people face in accessing comprehensive sexual health education and non-judgmental and pro-choice services, and how intersectionality impacts access as well as how inequities multiply barriers for certain populations. We strive to put our clients and patients first, ensuring they have access to the information and care they need.
