Ophelia - colic treatment

Ophelia is a gorgeous yearling cremello American quarter horse who has recently been diagnosed with colic and has undergone extensive veterinary treatment at the renowned OVC Large animal clinic in Guelph, Ontario. Her condition was and remains serious.
Things were looking dire for a while, but thankfully it looks like she's rallying. We're thrilled with the good news, but she's not in the clear yet and her veterinary bills are continuing to mount.
Ophelia is owned by Charlotte Lord, who bred this girl herself from her dear palmino mare. Charlotte would never ask for anything, but we know that she needs some help to cover these unexpected medical expenses.
OVC understandably requires their bill be paid before releasing Ophelia back into her family, who will in turn further her care at home. There is some urgency to raising these funds. Coincidentally, December 3rd is Giving Tuesday. Please consider helping this beautiful pair.

Update/note from Charlotte, Dec 3, 2019: If anyone has any questions about Ophelia or her treatment please let me know. Ophelia was down and colicky last Wednesday and after two visits from our regular vet with little to no improvement, he referred her to the OVC for more intensive supportive care and monitoring. Thankfully she seems to have turned a corner and is back to her sweet, silly self and they say she can come home this week.
