Air Conditioning for Njala Library
Donation protected
“If your plan is for one year plant rice. If your plan is for ten years plant trees. If your plan is for one hundred years educate children. ” - Confucius
Njala is a small university town in Sierra Leone West Africa with a population of about 6000 people. The town has a single meagerly stocked functional library with no air conditioning. Students have to endure average temperatures of about 81 degrees F (27 degrees C) and humidity ranging from an average of 80% during the wet season to about 50% during the dry season.
Let’s make life a little more bearable for these students, some of whom have endured 10 years of civil war and now the scare of Ebola, by donating any amount that will go towards air condition installation in the library.
