Operation for Meghan

Meghan is more than just a dog and companion.  She is a highly trained service dog who works for my son, Isaiah Schaffer.  He recieved her in 2008 to help with chronic PTSD. Meghan has been with Isaiah through many stays in the hospital, where she continues her role as service dog and companion.
Meghan has become a well known companion of Isaiah's in grocery stores and outings where she serves him by creating a space between him and the public, thus giving him a measure of security. But her daily outings also create an opportunity for Isaiah to explain the purpose of a working dog to those who ask.
Meghan is more than just a dog....she is Isaiah's everything and her presence has been a large part of bringing him peace.
During a recent trip to her veteranarian, a tumor inside  her mouth was discovered.  The cost for the initial procedure to remove and biopsy the tumor is upwards of $900.   I decided to ask all the friends and family we have  if a donation could be made to help with the cost of the procedure and after care she may need.  Meghan may be Isaiah's dog, but she is loved by our family and all who know her.
