Last year Olivia's Christmas wish was to take some of her Christmas money and the money she had been saving all year to buy $5 Tim Hortons gift cards to pass out to those who do not have as much as us. She called this #OperationWarmHugs. With the help of some generous donors she had over $120 worth of gift cards to give out.
This was one of the most emotional and eye opening experiences of our lives. She made countless people cry (including myself) with her selfless act of kindness. Many shared their stories and expressed how thankful they were to know that someone cared. A group of them were going up to Scotia Square to all get some chilli together!
This year we would like to make this bigger! We will be passing out Tim's cards the week before Christmas (dates to be determined)! We thank you for taking the time to read this and for your generous donation!
