Operation: Old Spice - Taking Care of Our Own

There are Airmen downrange right now. Middle East. Doing the job.

We all know the drill (many of us have lived it); Guard, Reserve, Active Duty... aircrew, maintenance, support. It doesn't matter. They showed up when the mission called, and they're executing at a high level.

Here's what we know: Many of them are running short on the basics. Not talking about luxuries. Talking about the small stuff that keeps you human when the days blur together and the ops tempo is high. The stuff that reminds you somebody back home actually knows you're out there and cares.

Supply lines are minimally effective right now. They don't have access to what they need to keep morale up and their needs met.

That's where we come in.

Operation: Old Spice is exactly what it sounds like: a group of like-minded people from the Air National Guard, Air Force Reserves, retirees, and members of The Pilot Network who decided to stop waiting on the system and start moving packages. We're raising money, building care packages, and getting them directly onto aircraft as crews rotate through. No bureaucracy. No middlemen eating up donations. Just purchasing what's needed, packing it right, and putting it on a plane.

If you've deployed, you know what a package from home does to a room. If you haven't, trust us... it matters more than it sounds.

We're raising $25,000 to start. Every dollar goes into the packages. The logistics are already sorted; we have the people, the access, and the relationships to make this move fast and land where it counts.

This is Airmen taking care of Airmen. It's what we do when the gap opens up and nobody else is filling it.

Give what you can. Even a few bucks will go a long way. Share it with your people. And if you've ever been the one downrange wishing someone had your six, now's your chance to be that person for somebody else.

Operation: Old Spice is a go. Let's move.
