Operation: Joseph to Orlando

Hi, I am Joseph, or rather I am an OSU student writing on Joseph's behalf. Joseph is a hard working man who has fallen on hard times. He works for Columbus Coalition for the Homeless, selling newspapers in front of the Starbucks on High in front of the Student Union.
Articles like these talk, in detail about the work he does, the struggles he endures, and the hopes that he has, all while maintaining a bright smile in the hot or cold. I encourage you to read this fantastic article, he is a very endearing person who works very hard for every dollar he earns.
That being said, it is the holiday season. His children, Gioviani and Angelo, currently live in Orlando, Florida. "It has been going on 2 years since the last time I have seen them. They have their own lives, and they have forgotten about me." The brutal honesty coming from a man that refuses to ask for money even from his kids because "that isn't right" and he "doesn't want to be a burden." It is simply heartbreaking. Please donate what you can to help reunite Joseph with his family over the holiday season. If every student and faculty member at Ohio State were to donate $1, the donation would be over in a flash and we can go on knowing that we brought together a family that has been a part for so long.
In closing, Joseph would like to say, regardless if you donate or not, God bless you and have a great holiday break.
