Operation Jesse's Smile

Donation protected
Many of us have watched for years now as my little brother, Jesse Batcho, has suffered one tooth affliction after the next; and in the 37 years I have known this kid, he has almost never asked others for help. In fact, he is usually one of the first people in line to help someone else, even when he doesn't always have it to give.

That being said, the time has come when he needs us. The chronic infection and pain has dramatically deteriorated his health - physically, mentally and emotionally. The few teeth that he has left are brittle, broken and full of infection. He only has one top tooth that actually meets with a bottom tooth to allow him to chew his food. His front teeth (or should I say TOOTH) are (is) no better.

Because the chronic tooth infections have compromised his immune system, he gets sick more often than he should, has a harder time fighting off illness once he is sick and is becoming more resistant to the antibiotics that are supposed to help make him better.

Jesse has become so self conscious through the years that I often catch him trying to hide his smile when he laughs; and you never see him smiling in pictures anymore. He is ONLY 37 YEARS OLD, and as a father of three with so much to live for, he deserves to be healthy— and he deserves to SMILE once again!

Though he has tried every avenue possible, Jesse's insurance will not cover the procedures he needs done. They absolutely refuse to help, even though it would alleviate so much money that they expend on him over illnesses that he would not have if he wasn't dealing with the constant tooth infections.

In order to fix his teeth and get his health back on track Jesse will need to have ALL of his remaining teeth pulled and be fitted for dentures. This is a long and extensive process that will cost in the neighborhood of $4,500 (providing there are no hiccups).

This is an expense that he simply cannot afford, given that he was not released by doctors to return to work after his back surgery more than two years ago. This is also a procedure that he can't afford NOT to have, and that is why I started this Gofundme.

I understand that times are tight for many. TRUST ME, I really get it! But every penny counts and no amount is too small to give - it all adds up in the end, right?

If giving is not an option for you, please consider sharing this Gofundme with your friends. You never know who might connect with Jesse's story and decide to pitch in towards the effort.

Thank you in advance for your thoughtful contribution to my brother's health and wellbeing. He is so truly loved, lets keep him around for just a little bit longer! <3
