Operation Heal K9 Khan
Donation protected
Hello!
K9 Khan faithfully served with the US State Department as an explosive detection dog in the Middle East, completing four tours and working tirelessly to protect the safety of those around him. Alongside his handlers, he undertook various tasks and occupations, including safeguarding the US embassy and different military installations. Since retiring, he has been enjoying well-deserved naps and playing with any toy in sight.
Unfortunately, the strenuous nature of Khan's work has taken a toll on his body, and he has begun to experience health issues. Recently, it was discovered that he requires spinal surgery to alleviate the compression of nerve roots at the base of his spine. He has been diagnosed with lumbosacral stenosis L7-S1 disc protrusion, which is causing L7 nerve root impingement.
We want to give Khan the best quality of life we can because we know he has earned it. After giving his all to ensure the safety of Americans, it's the least we can do to return the favor. We appreciate your time and consideration in this matter, and we know that Khan does as well.
