Christmas for Orphans in Uganda

Please help us provide Christmas for orphans in Gulu, Uganda.  The children of the war torn areas of Northern Uganda  have torn from the traditional families roles by violence, rape, AIDS and loss of parents.  Many families in this area are parented by oldest child left in the family unit.  This statement means that many, many families have NO ADULT in the family home.   Due to this fact, many children (young women in particular) are forced from education and left to fend for the families anyway they can.  Many of these children are raped and as a result suffer preteen pregnacy and AIDS.   We are seeking to give these children a little Christmas through the Nechedi Children's Initiative.   YOU can be a huge help as we will send 100% of all gifts directly to UGANDA and the Children's Initiative.  I will be traveling to Gulu in early March and will post pictures of how we helped make the Christmas special.
