Openhack Hack4Future

Openhack Hack4Future 2020 Australia is a series of live & virtual impact hackathons live-streamed from Canberra, engaging talents in the  global community to innovate and solve local and global challenges by collaborating and re-inventing digital tech applications. Each challenges is selected to support the Sustainable Development Goals and the creation of Learning Cities globally. Your contribution goes towards ensuring that this global movement is sustained and continues to engage individuals and communities worldwide to come together online and solve the most pressing challenges. Individuals with passion to help communities and expertise in different fields are welcome to participate in our hackathon where you will also get a chance to learn about new and widely used technologies disrupting the industries (such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cloud, GIS etc.) and try to apply these to your solutions in a series of workshops designed explicitly for Openhack Hack4Future hackathon. We gather engaged global mentor teams with experts from different fields, innovation hubs that are focused on community needs and research institutions as well as startups to ensure that everybody's involved in the process of innovating and creating solutions that benefits the communities worldwide. The participation in our hackathons is free of charge and provides individuals to practice leadership skills, teamwork, collaboration, creativity, empathy, develop digital competence, digital literacy, ICT skills, expand professional network and feel the spirit of entrepreneurship in a diverse community.
