OPD officer Teddy Yelley injured on duty

In May 2019 Officer Yelley was responding to a car jacking call when he was hit by a vehicle and sustained serious injuries to his leg. Officer Yelley has had several surgeries and has been unable to return to work since the accident. He and his wife, Shayla, who is a teacher at UTPB STEM Academy, are having difficulties keeping up with their financial obligations. They have 2 small children, Aiden and Avery, and could use some help with their monthly bills.
