Oona kicks brain cancer

As some of you may know, yesterday my mother Oona was admitted to Palm Drive hospital in Sebastopol for severe nausea and head pain.  After running an initial scan they discovered a tumor in her brain, in the same place as 8 years ago.  She has been taken to Memorial hospital and will be remaining there for the time being.  We are waiting for confirmation from the oncologyst, and will have a better understanding of the treatment options later today (mostly like some combination of chemo, radiation, and/or surgery).

What we do know is that she has a large tumor on/near her cerebellum that is putting pressure on her brain and spinal cord, impacting her motor skills, i.e. speech and movement/balance.  All of us know that my mom is a fighter and full of kindness, love, and light, she is someone who never shies away from the impossible.  She is in great spirits, as always, and is taking this situation by the horns. 

That being said, in this trying time, I am asking for help in covering some of her medical expenses as they arise (hospital and treatment fees), and her basic living expenses (rent, car, cellphone) so that she can focus all of her energy on fighting this and recovering.
