Nova's Hope

Nova Belle is now 4 years old. She lost her vision at 4 months due to brain tumors. They are rare and without explanation. She can't speak or walk, she has difficulty moving around, but finds her ways to do so. She has gone through chemo, that wasn't able to help, radiation isn't an option as it would kill too much of her healthy brain tissue and leave her incapable of even functioning as she does, and surgery simply isn't an option as of yet. We pray for time and medicine to advance. As her condition stands, she only sleeps for 2 hours at a time which leaves her father unable to work as she needs constant care.  Options are limited in Iowa and to experiment with other treatments would require them to venture to another state. We are simply not ready to give up hope as the doctors say to ''just enjoy the time you have with her''. I send this out asking for help as we have no other options and my son, Nova's father, would never be able to ask himself.  We wouldn't be asking if we could fix their problems ourselves.
