Missions to Uganda and El Salvador

Hi everyone, My name is Matthew Smith . I am  Firefighter in Washington DC and a follower of Jesus. I am attempting to raise money for two short terms missions trips I am going on. I hope to travel to Uganda in August and El Salvador in June. I have been to Uganda twice in the past and my main project involves certifying the motorcycle taxi drivers in basic first aid so they can act as first responders. The "boda boda"drivers are usually the first  to be on an accident scene and these skills they have learned  can and have saved lives. I hope to return this year as there two year certification will be expiring and they need to recertify to practice there first aid under the Ugandan Red Cross. I hope to also train the trainer this year so the Ugandans can become self sufficient and not dependant on us Americans traveling to them to train.  Other  projects involve construction on an orphanage, visiting a hospital, and traveling to a village hours away to help with solar panel installation. I also hope to travel to El Salvador in June to help with children and construction in a village near a volcano with much need of assistance. I am asking for any help you can offer for both of these missions. I recently traveled to Peru on a mission to serve missionary kids and funded the trip myself making it difficult for me to raise all the funds needed for these next two missions. I pray and hope that help will come. Matthew 24:14 states "And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and the end will come."  I have a passion for serving those in need all over the world and telling them of the love  of Jesus and about what He did for all of us. Any offering u can help me with is truly appreciated and I am forever grateful. So I ask that you can come along side me and help serve where it is needed. A lot of people have a thought of missions trips being vacations and I assure you this is not the case. I will be working and serving during my time abroad. Thanks so much and God bless all of you.
