<div>In de jaren 60 en 70 pionierde Els van Noorduijn de Nederlandse atletiek naar olympische hoogten. Omdat Els in Nederland niet verder kon trainen met kogelstoten werd ze als veelbelovende topsporter door het Leo van de Karfonds uitgezonden naar de DDR om daar te trainen. Achter het ijzeren gordijn! Ongehoord! Ze werd aangenomen als leerling van de beroemde Duitse coach Dr. Karl-Heinz Bauersfeld. De Stasi, de Oost-Duitse geheime politie, volgde haar overal. Maar Els zette door. Terug in Nederland brak ze door tot de wereldtop en werd ze uiteindelijk drie keer bondscoach.

<div>De eigenzinnigheid van Els, loopt als een rode draad door haar carrière. Met haar organisatie Veelbegaafd helpt Els tegenwoordig multigetalenteerde mensen hun plek te vinden binnen het bedrijfsleven. Els brengt mensen op een natuurlijke wijze in beweging. Hoe? Daar is dus het boek voor.
