unfortunately Olive passed away in 2013 but her legacy and passion still live on in the dedicated team of volunteers who work exceptionally hard to keep the sanctuary a safe and comfortable environment for all the rescue animals they acquire.
As well as having a loving home the rescue horses are also part of an animal therapy programme in which some great results have been achieved: you can read more about the amazing work they do on the website.
To show my support for the amazing work done by the team I have stepped forward to raise as much as I possible can. So..... I am booked for a skydive! Yes I will be jumping out of a plane at approximately 10,000ft! To say I’m nervous is an understatement but for such a worthy cause I know this is all worth it.
The sanctuary needs help and any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated. Upon telling the team of my fundraising scheme they were absolutely thrilled! I know how much this means to them so please help in any way you can. I understand some people won’t be able to donate money but a share of this campaign on Facebook will be just as much appreciated.
