I’m the oldest daughter of Shadelle, and I am asking for help on her behalf.

My mom is currently facing eviction at the end of this month, with a court date scheduled for August 13th. We’re running out of time and we desperately need the support to keep her home and provide stability for her and my younger siblings.

My mom works tirelessly, often putting in overtime and sacrificing her own rest to care for 7 kids on her own. She cooks, cleans, and manages everything, always putting her family first. She’s the kind of person who would give her LAST just to help someone in need, even if it meant she went without. That’s why it hurts me so much that she’s even in this situation, I just pray and hope that others can return the same kindness and generosity she’s always shown.

She rarely asks for help because she knows so many people are facing their own struggles, but now she has no choice. I don’t live with her, but I know how much this would means to her and my siblings. As the oldest of 8 kids, I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t do this alone.

My mom has given so much of herself to raise her children and support others around her. And now, she deserves the security of a place she can call home.
