We had 13 kids enter, but only one could win!
Imagine being 8 years old and looking out your front window as all the kids in the neighborhood are riding their bikes down the street and you couldn't join them, until now...
We held a contest on our Facebook page where someone with a disability could win an adaptive bike valued at $5,000 donated by a very generous company, Freedom Concepts.
It was hard for us to read all the stories of these amazing kids that entered the Adaptive Bike Giveaway and only be able to help one. They have all been through so much in their young lives, they really deserve for us to bring them the freedom of mobility.
LETS DO THIS TOGETHER!
We have decided that we are going to set up a Go Fund Me Campaign to get all the kids their very own adaptive bikes!
WITH YOUR HELP WE CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN!
We are kicking off this campaign now so that it is place for our 6th annual Bike Ride Fundraiser called Everybody Rides, that takes place on Sunday, August 26th, 2018. This is an all inclusive bike ride and celebration. At this event the winner of our Facebook contest receives their adaptive bike.
We are located in St. Charles, Illinois but had kids not only enter from Illinois but also from Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri and Wisconsin. That is so amazing that a contest from a small town had such a huge reach. The success of our contest was because of the parents, friends and families sharing the post.
So now we are having them do the same thing, share this campaign to those same friends and families that voted and have them donate to
help us get the other kids their very own adaptive bikes.
Stay tuned for every child's story, we will share them with you one at a time and then you will see why we couldn't just award only one!
Everyone of you think about this for a second, what is the one thing as a child you were so proud of; riding a bike without training wheels for the first time... all by yourself. These kids have never had that experience, so let's make that happen for each and every one of them.
