Hello!
My name is Onica and this is my second year doing a GoFundMe for my local school district's negative lunch accounts. Food is such an important part of life in general but especially for growing, learning children. It breaks my heart that there are so many of our very own neighbors, friends and family that don't have enough to make ends meet. Children go without lunches or eat the free lunches that school provide, often leading to being singled out, shamed and embarrassed. In my opinion children should not have to worry about whether or not they will be able to eat at the next meal or if their peers are going to tease them if their families need help. My goal is to pay off the negative lunch accounts for the entire Pardeeville, WI school district. We're not a large city by any means but we still have between $400-$500 in negative accounts daily. If I could help relieve some of the stress from my neighbors, friends and some of my children's fellow students it would make me incredibly happy. Last year I was able to meet my goal and the gratitude shown by the staff at the district was amazing. I want to be able to provide that again. Due to unforeseen circumstances I wasn't able to get this going prior to my actual birthday this year so rather than not asking at all, I decided to dedicate February for my cause. I will keep this going through February and take a check to the district office the first week of March. Please help me make my goal a reality for a second year. Thank you!!
