We are truly grateful for the incredible support and kindness shown so far towards Chavez’s treatment. Sadly, we have now been given devastating news: Chavez, who is in Jamaica, has been diagnosed with severe hydroureteronephrosis and a diffusely thickened urinary bladder.

This is a serious medical emergency. Without further treatment, Chavez’s condition could worsen rapidly. Access to specialist care in Jamaica is limited, and the cost of urgent treatment is far beyond what we can manage on our own. Every day matters, and the need for immediate intervention is critical.
