<div>I’m here to raise some money to help my family with ongoing medical costs related to my dad’s health.

<div>In February 2024, after some concerning symptoms, my dad had a scan that located a pancreatic tumor consistent with pancreatic cancer. The tumor is braided with two main arteries in the abdomen, making his medical care precarious and difficult. 
</div>

<div>After an initial biopsy, he quickly developed sepsis and pancreatitis and was hospitalized for 9 days. He was placed on a feeding tube. Those medical bills are already nearing $10,000 out of pocket. 
</div>

</div>
<div>Upon his release, we traveled to Mayo Clinic to seek a second opinion, which is where I’m writing this. He had a second biopsy which triggered an additional bout of pancreatitis. He is being admitted via the emergency department now. 
</div>

</div>
<div>He has had dozens of appointments, blood draws, scans, and testing. We have traveled hundreds of miles over the last month attempting to get him the best care possible. 
</div>

<div>This fundraiser would directly benefit his medical costs, transportation, lodging, as well as boarding for pets. 
</div>

<div>If you know me, you know my dad. For his entire life he has showed up in huge ways for his family, job, community - even strangers he meets in his day to day. It is truly awful to see him this way.
