On Tuesday, March 10, 2015, we suddenly and unexpectedly lost a very dear friend and colleague, Chris DiNovi. My family and I lost not only a friend and colleague, but someone we considered part of our family. If you didn't have the opportunity to meet Chris, well, you missed out.
And so the reason for this fund request. Chris was a sole provider, and left behind his wife Erin, and his sons Sam and Jacob. We cannot contemplate or even begin to comprehend the pain they must feel. We can, however, help to lessen the burden of the unknown.
Whether this fund provides for a college fund for Sam and Jacob, or reassures financial security for the DiNovi family for the future, it's our way of saying thank you. Thank you to Chris for who you were. Thank you Chris and his family for blessing our lives with your presence. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your life. Whatever the reason, this fund is our way of saying thank you and we will miss you. We will miss your gregarious nature. We will miss your intellect. We will miss your advice. We will miss your leadership. We will miss your willingness to help. And most of all, we will miss your friendship, a friendship that is not quantifiable in words.
