ONE CHILD MATTERS.
I believe we are all destined for something great in our lives. We are all able to help others in many different ways. After taking a good look at my life, Iv'e come to the realization (and I'm sure many of you out there will agree),there are so many different things in our lives we take for granted. The luxuries of this world and our daily routines have deeply blinded us. We have decided to only take pride in ourselves and make it so "we" are the only thing that matter. We have let greed, and wants consume how we function, and we forget to stop and really appreciate what we have; what has been given to us. Don't get me wrong, I know the necessities in life, work to pay bills, provide food, shelter over your head,clothes on your back, gas in the tank, but we've placed our wants over our needs, and we're left to chase the "American Dream."
Well lately, my dream has been this. Iv'e felt such a hard pull on my heart to really give back to those in need. To understand what the word "struggle" really means. I'm tiried of putting my WANTS first, I'm done with taking what I have for granted, and I'm completely fed up with the lack of hope I have led myself to have. There's a time when you have to make a difference and stand for whats right. I choose to stand with KENYA.
Joining with PositiveFM 99.9 Radio and One Child Matters Organization, I will be reaching out for support, so the people of Kenya can be filled with hope.
From July 16th-27th I will be joining a Mission Trip. On this mission we will strive to build in the village, work one-on-one with children and adults, study biblical passages, be a comfort/support system, and show LOVE to all those in need. Right here, right now is the chance to SOW into something great. I know without a doubt in my heart, this is going to be a radical life changing event. I know, not only my life will change, but for the people of Kenya, and also for those of you who give to my mission- things will change in your lives too.
I refuse to let this life pass by without knowing I helped make a difference. IT"S TIME TO GET INVOVLVED!!!!
I am taking a step of faith, and I know God will meet me there.
Take that step with me.....
