Bria The [Starving] Artist

Donation protected
I am a full-time singer/songwriter, painter, sketch artist and poet. Manifesting a dream can be tough and costly. Manifesting a dream as an independent, African American, "Millennial" artist can be tougher. In the midst of balancing performing and visual arts, I've been blessed to embark on a 10-city tour. While I am grateful, all expenses have to come out of pocket.  Collectively, my family and I have poured in tens of thousands of dollars to support my manifestations! While I use my monthly Paint & Sip classes to earn money on the side, it only provides me with about $200 a month. As a "millennial" (like many) I have to rely on parental support and am still living at home. Needless to say, I'd like to change that.

Too often, artists such as myself see little to no return on their investments. I absolutely LOVE creating my art to share with the public, but without a sufficient financial pillar, I wouldn't have the proper tools to create in the first place. I'm always told "you never know who will be helped by your work". Humbly, I ask for your support on OUR my creative journey so that I'd one day be able to support myself, my family, AND others. Any bit helps. God bless and thank you!
