<div>MY GRANDMOTHER WENT TO COURT ALONE.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No attorney. No advocate. No one to explain the system to her. Juanita Mary Mitchell walked into a Los Angeles dependency courtroom by herself and fought to keep her grandchildren together. She won — not because the law protected her, but because she refused to let the system win.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Her husband Willis built a home in South Central Los Angeles in 1952. Four generations later, that compound is worth over $1.2 million — and the family home is still there providing shelter to four generations.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am their granddaughter. My name is LaTasha Richardson. I went to law school at night to build the laws that should have protected them — and every family like theirs.

<div>WHAT IS ONE ROOF?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>ONE ROOF is the first documentary-legislation hybrid in California history. A documentary film and a 13-cause labor rights legislative framework — built simultaneously, where the film is the public advocacy vehicle for real law submitted to the California Law Revision Commission.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I submitted 13 proposed laws to the California Law Revision Commission before I made a single public post. Before I called a single journalist. Before I asked anyone for anything. Because the record had to exist before the attention.

</div>
<div>THE 13 LAWS ADDRESS:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>► Ghost job fraud — companies posting jobs that don't exist to harvest your resume
</div>
<div>► ATS algorithmic bias — algorithms rejecting you before a human sees your name
</div>
<div>► 5 interviews, no hire — unpaid work extraction in the hiring process
</div>
<div>► Layoff to foreclosure — no law connects your last paycheck to your front door
</div>
<div>► The 10% survival penalty — charged when you touch your own retirement to survive a layoff
</div>
<div>► Healthcare gaps — no coverage between the job you left and the job that hasn't started
</div>
<div>► LinkedIn surveillance — employers watching your profile before you ever apply
</div>
<div>► Multigenerational housing — no law protects the family equity you spent years building
</div>
<div>► AI meeting surveillance — your words scored by algorithms without your consent
</div>
<div>► Equity clawbacks — laid off the week before your stock vests
</div>
<div>► PIP fraud — the performance plan that appears the day after you speak up
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>HOW YOUR DONATION IS USED:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>► Documentary production — cinematography, editing, post-production
</div>
<div>► Legal research and CLRC submission materials
</div>
<div>► ONE ROOF Academy — free worker education platform
</div>
<div>► Worker Intelligence Registry — collecting the evidence that becomes law
</div>
<div>► Outreach to legislators, press, and advocacy partners
</div>
