BOB MARLEY ONE LOVE 2020 FESTIVAL: GAZA

On February 6, 2020 we will be celebrating Bob Marley's 75th birthday and the 40th year anniversary of his 'Uprising' album, the final studio release during Bob’s lifetime. This fortuitous confluence of two major events in Reggae gave birth to the idea of the ONE LOVE 2020 FESTIVAL to be held in Gaza simultaneously with all of the other Bob Marley honors . The festival will celebrate many of Bob Marley’s messages of PEACE AND REDEMPTION for human kind through his many songs which reveal his message of ONE LOVE.

Marley's words call for change and a shift in our global consciousness. His music was and still is a vehicle to imprint the One Love message in our hearts for now and future generations.

The music speaks spiritually to all humans on this planet without the divisions of religious doctrine. There is no rational reason in these modern times of globalization and thriving social media that we should be divided by fear despite governmental mind control, wars and racism; we cannot allow past history to repeat itself.

We believe the world’s diverse people can sustain healthy relationships, friendships, real connections, close and far away from the political issues and discussions. The people of the world have been separated for too long.

The people of the world must come together through music.

The middle east is a spiritual center of the world, a place where prophets speak, a perfect place to create change in the world and spread the words of Bob Marley.


Music and dance can be part of the solution for world peace. This musical collaboration will resonate with the people of Palestine, Jamaica, United States Israel and lovers of peace around the world. Music builds friendships and unites people on all sides of humanity. Inspiring change happens when people stand together to make life good, respectful and safe for all.

We are calling all our Brothers and Sisters from all over the world to support this project. Join our team and support our love revolution in February 2020.

Gadi Altman, Israel- Entertainer and lead singer of the annual Bob Marley Israel Celebration in Israel for the last 14 years, peace activist.

Ariel Kedem, Israel and the Congo: Founder and chairman of Africa 2030, an international organization based on a partnership between people and organizations from Africa and around the world, resource developer.

Dudu Vazana, Israel: Film director, editor and designer.

Bardan Production, Israel, Shmulik Bardan and Bella Malkin: Event coordination and production company for large municipalities and students Spring Breaks festivals. They have producing the Bob Marley Israel celebration for 14 years. It is one of the most significant events in the Israeli music scene, hosting the top mainstream Israeli artists across music genres, all singing the messages of Bob Marley.
