One Last Family Christmas

After a year and a half long battle fighting bowel Cancer with Chemo Therapy and Radiation treatment our almost 40 year old brother has been told his prognosis is now terminal. Sadly the treatments have done nothing positive, the Cancer has in fact grown in size with the last scan also showing it has begun to spread to his lungs. We are trying to remain positive but it looks like this may well be our last chance to have a christmas together as a family. We are a big family of 6 siblings, with four of us now married with our own children. Our sister is travelling home from abroad with her family and the rest of us are spread out over Queensland, from as far up as Hervey Bay to just north of the Gold Coast. We all grew up on the Sunshine Coast in Noosa, where our brother still resides. With most of our childhood christmas holidays spent happily together on the beach we are trying to recreate one last family holiday all together this year.
We are trying to raise funds to help us achieve this dream for our big brother because all he now wants is quality family time and unfortunately we just wont be able to make this happen on our own.  Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
