<div><strong>Kawasaki management in the Philippines is trying to destroy the union at their motercycle factory in the Philippines. </strong>
</div>
<div>The union has been forced out on strike for the first time in its 60 year history and the workers need your financial help and solidarity to win.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Please donate whatever you can to the union strike fund.</strong>
</div>
<div>Your financial asssitance to the strike will help show companies like Kawasaki that, in this world in which the news is getting worse and worse for workers, our families, and our communities, we can still stand up and say 'No!' and win and, together, build a better world for all of us.

</div>
<div><strong>Kawasaki workers in the Philippines remain on strike after three months. The Company is doing whatever it can to break the workers. </strong>
</div>
<div>The Company has threatened legal action against union leaders in an attempt to intimidate people away from exercising their rights.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Kawasaki has<strong><em> lowered</em></strong> what they are offering at the bargaining table as the company seeks to destroy the workers' union.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Kawasaki management has cut down tree branches to remove any shade protecting the workers from sun and heat on the picket line to try and break their will.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>After more than 70 days on strike, the union strike fund is nearly depleted.</strong>
</div>
<div>Workers continue to hold the line, but are struggling. They are relying on food donations and small acts of solidarity to survive. Other unions in the Philippines have stepped up—sending supplies, joining the picket line, and helping share our story.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Kawasaki workers need that same spirit from people around the world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Here’s how you can help:
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div><strong>Donate to the union strike fund through this GoFundMe page. Every peso goes toward helping workers stay on strike. </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With your help, the Kawasaki workers will win and, together, we'll be part of restoring hope to a world in which hope is increasingly in short supply.
