<div>Marcel heeft de diagnose ALS gekregen, een genadeloze ziekte die langzaam zijn spieren aantast en zijn bewegingsvrijheid beperkt. Ondanks deze zware tegenslag blijft Marcel dezelfde positieve en betrokken man. Hij is er nog steeds voor zijn vrienden en familie, zelfs terwijl hij zelf dagelijks vecht tegen de gevolgen van zijn ziekte.

<div>Zijn vrienden laten hem en zijn vriendin niet alleen. In mei zullen ze samen een berg beklimmen (Tour de Zoetoe, bijnaam van Marcel) – een zware uitdaging, maar niets vergeleken met de strijd die Marcel dagelijks voert. Deze actie is bedoeld om geld in te zamelen voor Marcel en zijn vrouw, zodat zij de zorg en ondersteuning krijgen die ze nu en straks nodig hebben.
