Hey guys, I really hate doing things like this, but it just doesn't seem to be getting better. We legitimately need help. My name is Cam, and I run a family owned karaoke business. My parents started the company almost 20 years ago, and have worked tremendously to build it up. My brothers and I have since taken over, and it's what keeps the heat on at night. Earlier in 2015 we were robbed at our home, resulting in about $3,000 worth of stolen equipment. That set us back tremendously, but we continued to push on and slowly made some money back to keep the equipment we still had up to par. Everything seemed to be getting back on track, until just the other night. While chatting with the bartender after the show, our window was smashed in with a rock. They made away with everything. All the years, building this business, the late nights, the constant replenishing broken equipment, the hundreds of thousands of songs accumulated over time... POOF! without a trace. We're talking a minimum of $50,000! This is our livelyhood, and it's how we put food on the table.

We are now scrambling like headless chickens trying to scrape what we can together for the upcoming weekly shows. We've already maxed out every penny getting what we can, and it's still not even close. It's a suffocating feeling knowing that much money is gone. I have never been anything but poor, so losing 50k feels like the death of my future.

The $1500 would go towards, speakers, professional audio cables, converters, video monitors, computers, audio mixers, and audio software. This would help keep us in business until we can generate more capital.

Each of these items is essential for doing our job. Without one component, the entire show will fail.
Like I said before, I NEVER wanted to resort to something like this, but we're backed into a corner, and anything at this point would help. The devastation of this theft will be felt for years, it's still surreal at this point.
However, we never would have gone this far without the support of our friends, and we are so grateful for what you've done for us. I love doing my job, and it scares me to think that I might be working at Del Taco in the near future.
Thanks for everything guys, we're not gonna stop fighting!
