Dear Family and Friends,
So happy to share our story with you. As most of you know, on the early morning hours of June 14, 2017, Mark suffered a major heart attack. Sarah was able to get him to the emergency room at Flagler Hospital just in time. He was immediately taken to the "cath lab" where a stent was placed to open a blockage. We're so lucky to still have him with us. During his hospital stay, he also found out he has Type 2 Diabetes. A big suprise, however, all inherited. (Sorry Mark). He was discharged just in time to be with his family for Fathers Day. An extra special meaning for DAISY, SARAH, family and friends.
He's on the road to recovery, and has lots of miles to go. We know he wasn't expecting to start a medical education, but, that's what's happening. It's going to take time, which means he'll be out of work for awhile. He'd like to do more, but, he realizes just being "MR. MOM", with Daisy is even more than he can do alone. That being said, living expenses are piling up, added to the medicine and medical bills. Your financial help can and will get him through this recovery time, and, it'll be nice to have you with us, all the way.
