I am asking 50,000+ Beauty and Barber Professionals to help the industry by donating at least $10... Beauty and Barber Professionals, we must protect the integrity of our entire industry in the midst of this pandemic. Everything negative that happens will be a stain on our profession if we don't get this right...
Beauty and Barber Professionals, we are trained in Health, Safety, Sanitation and Infection Control and yet we are challenged with going back to work in the midst of this pandemic. Not because we don't feel confident that we can't keep clients and ourselves safe but because we don't have proper or even enough personal protective equipment. As President of The Concerned Beauty and Barber Professionals , I have asked government officials and major manufacturers to help supply you with the necessary personal protective equipment that you need but to no avail. We can't keep begging and having our needs fall upon deaf ears.
Many Professionals are going back to work and "making do" and this is unacceptable if Professionals are to keep themselves and their clients safe. Many Professionals did not receive unemployment benefits, stimulus checks or grants and loans. Many Professionals have no choice but to return to the salon and barbershop and their health and safety and the health and safety of their clients should not be in jeopardy. Our industry must be supplied with protective equipment and we are committed to making sure that Professionals have what they need, therefore, we are raising money to protect the integrity of our industry by doing two things:
(1) I will personally travel around the State of Georgia, the first state to reopen salons and barbershops, distributing FREE personal protective equipment and FREE copies of "The Concerned Beauty and Barber Professionals Guide to Thrive and Survive " to Licensed Beauty and Barber Professionals who need it....
(2) I will also be mailing FREE personal protective equipment and a FREE copy of "The Concerned Beauty and Barber Professionals Guide to Thrive and Survive " to Licensed Beauty and Barber Professionals across the country who also need help...
Beauty and Barber Professionals, we all have a role to play in stopping the spread of this deadly virus and we must protect the integrity of our industry. We must help our fellow Professionals and ensure they are doing everything right. Again, everything negative that happens will be a stain on our profession...
