I'm going to Mozambique! A nation that has been embraced by the love of Jesus. A nation that has been radically transformed by furious love of our good good Heavenly Father, through a woman and her husband, Heidi and Rolland Baker. This nation that has experienced decades of war, poverty, famines, floodings, cyclone, and some more fighting. I have heard of so many miracles and stories from Heidi of how God would show up with all of His love and light in the midst of such chaos, hopelessness and turmoil. And God continues to to this day!
And they decided to start a school and invite people into what they are doing! And let me tell you, this school isn't just any ordinary school! It's a place where people's hearts get ripped out and minds changed by the harsh difference of our ordinary Christianity to the Christianity that is found in the Bible in Jesus day. Christianity of God's radical love poured out in healings, miracles, deliverances, food multiplied, celebration, and most importantly, family. And in all this I will learn more about God and His furious love than I could ever imagine.
Heidi recently said that, "You need more of God's anointing in your life for the places and people that you are called to." My one desire is to be so overwhelmed by the powerfully loving and sweet presence of Holy Spirit as well as love as Jesus loves. Heidi Baker is someone I see living that out. To live and learn alongside Heidi, Rolland and their staff will be an honor, a privilege and truly a really really big dream come true.
Three years ago I had a choice to apply to either Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry or Iris Harvest School. I delightfully chose BSSM but my dream remained hidden for these three years, to be in the dirt loving and stopping for the one and worshipping my Jesus (but oh do I ever worship Jesus unashamedly here!)! :) In these three years at BSSM I have grown dramatically and have had the best years of my life so far. God has powerfully touched me with His love and if you're reading this then so have you. I thank you for the great impact you've had in shaping my life. I don't say that lightly. And I don't say thanks enough, so again thank you. :)
A few weeks ago I woke up one morning hearing God say "how wide, how high, how deep" over and over and I knew it was an invitation to intimately know more of God's love. It's my personal desire and only motivation in life, seeking His face and knowing His heart. And I always and forever have pictures engraved in my heart of different faces and cultures of people soon to be embraced by the love of Jesus. A people that will be radically transformed by the furious love of our good good Heavenly Father. This is my journey
"...to comprehend with all the saints how wide, how high, how deep, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God." Eph. 3:18-19"
The school cost with an extended outreach is $4000USD and flights are approximately $3000USD. The medication, shots, camping equipment, reading material, visas, cost of H2O etc all comes to about $2500USD.
